Start for ATP Aachen
ATP expands its integrated design expertise in Germany
With the official opening of its new premises, ATP architects engineers is marking the launch of its latest German office. ATP Aachen has been painstakingly built up during the past few months under the leadership of the experienced architect Viktor Lorentz.
Change as a mission
The choice of the location in the historic heart of Aachen and very close to the renowned RWTH Aachen University was very deliberate, because this is where change happens. And for Managing Director Viktor Lorentz, change is more than just a buzzword. Shaped by his international experience in the design sector, he is intensely interested in the future of the sector. His mission: to break down barriers – between disciplines, institutions, data, and people in equal measure. This philosophy led him directly to ATP and, eventually, to the establishment of ATP Aachen. “The decision to bring ATP to Aachen was the result of intense conversations with ATP’s CEO Christoph M. Achammer – and of a clear vision,” explains Lorentz. He sees digitalization, new working concepts, and the questioning of traditional processes as the keys to driving the transformation of the building sector.
After just a short time it was already clear to us that ATP Aachen has huge potential. We saw the methodically reproducible approach to digital integrated design and the resulting focus on the needs of clients as convincing arguments for the establishment of the new office.

The new office will intensify ATP’s activities in the health sector, in cooperation with the ATP research and specialist design office ATP health, which is also based in Aachen.
