ATP establishes an integrated design office in Krakow

Krakow, 03.09.2024

ATP architects engineers entered into a strategic partnership with the internationally successful Krakow architecture office IMB Asymetria at the beginning of 2023, with the medium-term objective of developing the new office into a full service integrated design company in line with the ATP culture. This has now become possible due to the alliance between ATP Asymetria and the engineering office Tequm.

ATP Asymetria, the Krakow office of ATP architects engineers, is repositioning itself: Following several years of close cooperation with the well-known Polish engineering company Tequm, the offices have now decided to merge in order to be able to provide all architecture and engineering services from a single source under the name ATP Krakow. This will enable the new office to benefit from the synergies offered by the entire ATP Group and to offer a complete range of design services in line with the ATP standard. ATP Krakow is headed by the architects Marek Borkowski and Witold Gilewicz, together with the engineer Marek Dyduch of Tequm.

“The decision to bring our disciplines even closer together is a milestone in the expansion of our planning expertise. This is enabling us to benefit, on the one side, from the experience that we have gained from working as a team alongside Tequm and, on the other side, from last year’s successful integration into the ATP design culture. We are convinced that the closest possible cooperation between architects and engineers will help us to address the questions of tomorrow with optimal design quality and first-class planning,” explains the architect Marek Borkowski, Managing Director/Architecture of ATP Krakow.

ATP Krakow manages over half of its contractual volume in the DACH Region. As chief architect of one of Europe’s most exciting inner-city building projects, Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, it is currently overseeing the realization of the ensemble of 14 buildings with a total area of 419,000 m2, which was conceived in line with the vision of creating a dynamic new meeting point for the port city. ATP is also responsible for the execution design of the public open spaces and several building elements, the interior design of the retail areas, and the implementation of design changes on this pioneering major urban project.
